Raw Anticipation

I'm sitting here at my desk anxiously awaiting Friday, May 27th when I'll be in a Nissan Armada rolling halfway across the state with my bro for a 3-day music/camping/partying extravaganza. 3 other individuals will be meeting us the following day for the festival... no idea how that may or may not alter my good mood. Some people get excited about their weeklong vacations to places such as Hawaii or Italy. I, given that I've only missed two work days in the past 11 months, am equally excited about this upcoming camping trip. I NEED a vacation like you wouldn't believe! I never thought I'd be the workaholic type, but being fresh out of college isn't easy for someone looking to make a decent living. Vacation is good. Take it whenever you can. Work shouldn't be your life. You owe it to yourself to take breaks from the insanity and explore the things existing outside of your daily grind. I think I'm going to go for a drive now. Noontime drives have been my salvation these past few months. Hasta!
